Q&A
What do you love about your job?
I love teaching and making particle detectors work. I also like problem solving in data analysis. I enjoy looking at the data and figuring out what it is telling me.
Who were some of your role models as a kid?
I am not sure I had a role model growing up, but I did admire a lot of people. I admired physicist, Richard Feynman, and also European film directors and novelists. Certainly my mother was one of my role models. She worked full time producing TV shows, showing me that you could be a powerful and productive woman and
have a family.

Who's your current girlcrush?
Right now it is a dead physicist Maria Goeppert-Mayer. She  won the Nobel prize in physics in 1963. She was bad-ass!
SO smart, funny, and brilliant.

is to be interested in what you are doing every single day. That, to me, is what success is.
